HUNT FOR JESUS

Thank you for your interest in the Hunt For Jesus Youth Hunt.  We welcome each of you and want you to come expecting to have a great time, learn more about hunting and learn more about our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and about His creation.

 

There will be several changes made in the Hunt this year.

 

Due to the number of places to hunt and guides available, we will have a strict limit of 100 hunters this year.

 

Due to the increase in postage, there will be no applications mailed out this year.  All applications will be done online.  There will be a strict deadline for the return of applications by October 10.  No exceptions.

 

Regrettably, we have found it necessary to make changes in the meals.  All hunters, guides, and workers will receive a wristband upon registration.  This wristband will allow them access to free meals.  Without the wrist bands, the meals will be $5.00 per plate.  We hate having to do this, but we think you can understand that the cost of food is increasing and although $5.00 will not cover the cost of the meal, it will help reduce the cost.

 

T-shirts will still be free for each child registered to Hunt.  If a parent or sibling would like to purchase one, please put all sizes on the registration form.  We will not be ordering extra shirts this year so please double-check your sizes.  The shirts will be $15.00 each and must be paid for by the deadline of October 10th.

 

We appreciate our guides so much for all they do.  In the last few years, it has been brought to our attention that the same ones do the processing of the deer each year.  A big part in harvesting a deer is processing it.  This year, we will ask our guides to help your youth skin his or her own deer.  We will stop the skinning tree process during our devotional times and ask that everyone be inside the building for that.
